Published by the Perez-Steele Art Galleries from 1980 through 2002, the Perez-Steele Hall of Fame Art Postcard Series has long been a favorite with collectors. Based on the original artwork of Dick Perez, each limited edition postcard features a water-color portrait of a Hall of Famer overlaid with an action image illustration.  The card backs feature a standard postcard layout with the Hall of Famer's year of Induction and basic career stats. Each card was printed in a limited quantity of 10,000 and includes a protective sleeve.

Player Biography
From his inaugural major league campaign at age 20 in 1958, when he was named the unanimous National League Rookie of the Year, and throughout his 17-year major league career, Orlando Manuel Cepeda Pennes was a powerful slugger. He hit better than .300 and ranked among the top 10 in slugging nine times, including eight seasons of 25 or more home runs. “The Baby Bull” earned the N.L. Most Valuable Player Award in 1967; he was the first unanimous pick in the senior circuit in 31 years.
