This Gary Carter Hall of Fame home plate by Barnwood Sports measures 18.5 inches across, with the players name and number, and includes the Baseball Hall of Fame logo as well. The depth is 1.25 inches. Made from distressed wood, this product weighs roughly 6 lbs and has a semi-gloss finish and works well for autographs. The backing is Grade A 1/2” birch plywood, which is sanded and stained to give the piece a finished feel. Hangers are included for wall hanging. They also do fit well into picture frame stands. All plates are glued and nailed. Proudly crafted by hand in the USA by Barnwood Sports.

A three-time Gold Glove Award winner, Carter belted 324 home runs in his 19-season career, and earned two All-Star Game Most Valuable Player awards. His clutch 10th-inning single in Game Six of the 1986 World Series sparked a dramatic comeback victory, ultimately leading to a World Series title for the New York Mets.
