This George Brett Hall of Fame home plate by Barnwood Sports measures 18.5 inches across, with the players name and number, and includes the Baseball Hall of Fame logo as well. The depth is 1.25 inches. Made from distressed wood, this product weighs roughly 6 lbs and has a semi-gloss finish and works well for autographs. The backing is Grade A 1/2” birch plywood, which is sanded and stained to give the piece a finished feel. Hangers are included for wall hanging. They also do fit well into picture frame stands. All plates are glued and nailed. Proudly crafted by hand in the USA by Barnwood Sports.

In 21 seasons with the Kansas City Royals, George Brett topped the .300 mark 11 times, becoming the first player to win batting titles in three decades; 1976 (.333), 1980 (.390) and 1990 (.329). He led the American League in hits three times, finishing his career with 3,154, including 665 doubles, 137 triples and 317 homers. The 13-time All-Star was the A.L. Most Valuable Player in 1980 and earned a Gold Glove Award in 1985, the same year the Royals won their first World Series championship.
