A four-time Gold Glove Award-winner at second base, he led the Astros to six postseason appearances, including their only National League pennant in 2005. A seven-time All-Star, Biggio retired as the only player in big league history with at least 3,000 hits, 600 doubles, 400 stolen bases and 250 home runs.
