This Stan Musial Hall of Fame home plate by Barnwood Sports measures 18.5 inches across, with the players name and number, and includes the Baseball Hall of Fame logo as well. The depth is 1.25 inches. Made from distressed wood, this product weighs roughly 6 lbs and has a semi-gloss finish and works well for autographs. The backing is Grade A 1/2” birch plywood, which is sanded and stained to give the piece a finished feel. Hangers are included for wall hanging. They also do fit well into picture frame stands. All plates are glued and nailed. Proudly crafted by hand in the USA by Barnwood Sports.

After 22 years with the St. Louis Cardinals, Musial ranked at, or near, the top of baseball’s all-time lists in nearly every offensive category. The slugging outfielder topped the .300 mark in 17 consecutive seasons and won seven National League batting titles with his famed “corkscrew” stance and ringing line drives. A three-time Most Valuable Player, “The Man” played in 24 All-Star games and was a member of three World Series championship teams. In 1948, he fell one home run shy of capturing the Triple Crown.
