Published by the Perez-Steele Art Galleries from 1980 through 2002, the Perez-Steele Hall of Fame Art Postcard Series has long been a favorite with collectors. Based on the original artwork of Dick Perez, each limited edition postcard features a water-color portrait of a Hall of Famer overlaid with an action image illustration.  The card backs feature a standard postcard layout with the Hall of Famer's year of Induction and basic career stats. Each card was printed in a limited quantity of 10,000 and includes a protective sleeve.

Player Biography
Displaying remarkable consistency during his 17-year career, Jim Bunning became the first pitcher since Cy Young to record 100 wins and 1,000 strikeouts in both the American and National leagues. The father of nine, and today a United States Senator from Kentucky, he threw a perfect game for the Philadelphia Phillies on Father’s Day of 1964, his second career no-hitter; he hurled one for the Detroit Tigers six years earlier. Bunning piled up 224 career wins as a nine-time All-Star selection.
