After the 1992 season, Boggs moved from the Boston Red Sox to the rival New York Yankees, where he earned two Gold Glove awards and also a World Series title in 1996. The 12-time All-Star finished his career with his hometown Tampa Bay Devil Rays, hitting a home run for his 3,000th career hit in 1999.
