This Frank Thomas Hall of Fame home plate by Barnwood Sports measures 11 inches across, with the player’s name and number, and includes the Baseball Hall of Fame logo as well. Made from distressed wood, this plate weighs roughly 2.5 pounds and has a semi-gloss finish that works well for autographs. The backing is made of birch plywood, which is sanded and stained to give the piece a finished feel. A hook is included on the back for wall hanging.

Player Biography
Built like a bruising football player, Frank Thomas chose a bat and glove over shoulder pads at Auburn University, forging historic success on big league baseball diamonds for almost two decades. Spending the bulk of his career with the White Sox, the powerful first baseman/designated hitter became the only player ever to string together seven straight seasons with at least 20 homers, 100 RBI, 100 walks and a .300 batting average. The five-time All-Star captured back-to-back American League MVP awards (1993-94) and ended his impressive career in 2008 with 521 homers, 1,704 RBI, a .301 career batting average and a .419 on-base percentage.
