Player Biography
“He may have the best hand-eye coordination of anyone I’ve ever seen,” Ted Williams once noted of Wade Boggs. After the 1992 season, Boggs moved from the Boston Red Sox to the rival New York Yankees, where he earned two Gold Glove awards and also a World Series title in 1996.
