Published by the Perez-Steele Art Galleries from 1980 through 2002, the Perez-Steele Hall of Fame Art Postcard Series has long been a favorite with collectors. Based on the original artwork of Dick Perez, each limited edition postcard features a water-color portrait of a Hall of Famer overlaid with an action image illustration.  The card backs feature a standard postcard layout with the Hall of Famer's year of Induction and basic career stats. Each card was printed in a limited quantity of 10,000 and includes a protective sleeve.

Player Biography
Will Harridge – who worked for the American League for 48 years – started out as a ticket agent for the Wabash Railroad Company, where he handled booking and transportation for A.L. teams and umpires. In 1911, he was hired as personal secretary for A.L. president and founder Ban Johnson before becoming league secretary in 1927. Elected A.L. president in 1931, Harridge served in that capacity until his retirement in 1958, later serving on the board of directors. During his record 28-year tenure, he presided over the birth of the All-Star Game in 1933 and maintained prosperity for the league.
