Published by the Perez-Steele Art Galleries from 1980 through 2002, the Perez-Steele Hall of Fame Art Postcard Series has long been a favorite with collectors. Based on the original artwork of Dick Perez, each limited edition postcard features a water-color portrait of a Hall of Famer overlaid with an action image illustration.  The card backs feature a standard postcard layout with the Hall of Famer's year of Induction and basic career stats. Each card was printed in a limited quantity of 10,000 and includes a protective sleeve.

Player Biography
Stocky, hard-hitting and fierce-running, Royce Middlebrook “Ross” Youngs was a tough right fielder for the New York Giants of the 1920s. The team’s Hall of Fame manager, John McGraw, called Youngs “the greatest outfielder I ever saw.” Youngs hit better than .300 for seven consecutive seasons and compiled a career average of .322. He led National League outfielders in assists on three occasions. A kidney disorder ended his career in 1926, and resulted in his premature death in 1927 at age 30.
