This decorative baseball features a brilliantly-colored montage of two of the best-known symbols of the Jewish Festival of Lights — the dreidel (a four-sided top with Hebrew letters that stand for the words Nes, Gadol, Haya, Sham, meaning “a great miracle happened there,”) against a background of Hanukkah “gelt,” representing the real (and chocolate!) coins traditionally given to children during the 8 day holiday.
The process: The original design art is hand painted onto paper. Shown are all the little details of what makes the scene so unique. Then the image is reproduced and printed onto faux leather with quality ink that has a beautiful richness. It is then cut and hand stitched together to create this lovely keepsake.
- A very detailed and vibrant commemorative baseball.
- Includes a protective, clear lucite display box
