1977 Dairy Isle Disc baseball card of George Brett.   Used as promotion items, the 1977 MSA Discs had identical (or very similar) fronts but different backs for each promotion. MSA stands for Michael Schechter & Associates, who had a partnership with the Players’ Union to create these food issue collectibles. The 1977 MSA backs included: Zip'z, Wendy's, Dairy Isle, Saga, Customized Sports, Holiday Inn, Chilly Willee and Detroit Caesars.  The discs have various colored fronts, are un-numbered and measure 3-3/8" in diameter.  Complete set consists of 70 different players.

Player Biography
In 21 seasons with the Kansas City Royals, George Brett topped the .300 mark 11 times, becoming the first player to win batting titles in three decades; 1976 (.333), 1980 (.390) and 1990 (.329). He led the American League in hits three times, finishing his career with 3,154, including 665 doubles, 137 triples and 317 homers. The 13-time All-Star was the A.L. Most Valuable Player in 1980 and earned a Gold Glove Award in 1985, the same year the Royals won their first World Series championship.
